Pros

2 holidays as gift from the company at year end, no work between the holidays, home office at least 2 days per week, probably will not be moved to India in the near future

Cons

no bonus, yearly salary increase below inflation (sometimes applied at the 4th quarter of the year), salary corrections according to market is rarely applied (corrections 2-3 yearly but levels are not adjusted according to the actual market but years before that) market is growing 10% yearly whereas promotion is hard to get (2+ yearly 8-12%), which means if you stay your salary will decrease definitely. You have to leave the company to have competitive salary.

Pros

Some nice brands to work with. Nice offices, most people are friendly Nice push to get more diversity in VP+ roles

Cons

Every few months there will be some kind of restructure and with that comes a load of layoffs. Some of the restructures only last a few months and then they change it again, with some more layoffs. They may give you the opportunity to apply of other roles and offer some consultation sessions, but these don't really amount to anything unless you're prepared to take a junior role. While they are pushing diversity in senior roles, this has not filtered down to anything below VP.

Pros

Working for ViacomCBS has been amazing the last couple of years. ViacomCBS has been navigating working from home quite well in my opinion, especially when it comes with mental health breaks and virtual employee activities. Overall the benefits are great, the people you're working with are enthusiastic about their jobs and role in the company, and there is room to grow within your role. Overall, recommend working here.

Cons

At times work-life balance can get a bit hectic, especially WFH, however, I don't think that's the company's fault. Pay is also slightly bit lower than other companies.
