Pros

+ Dinner party cache of working for a movie studio + The physical lot is very nice and the food is very good at the cafeteria + Legal structures in entertainment contracts can be interesting

Cons

- Your satisfaction is directly tied to the attorney you assist (i.e. if you have a bad communicator, you will have to deal with bad communication) - Not a team/collaborative atmosphere. Individual attorney/assistant pairs are very isolated

Pros

Prestige of working at a major studio in Hollywood.

Cons

Trade-off for working at a studio is depressed salary. You are tied to a contract and your bumps are pre-negotiated 3 years out before you even get in the door and have a sense of what others are paid. Difficult to negotiate for more than standard flat raises every 18 months or so.
