Pros

coworkers were nice on the whole, but some tended to use interns (surprised?). they wouldn't even pay for lunch or a metrocard.. cheap

Cons

guy i was working under was ghetto, rude, and tended to power trip over everything. i did not see the point of the program since the management didnt need or care about intern projects.

Pros

Cool working environment. Lots of young people, and all the floors have different designs. I interned with the production management department, so there were lots of cool shoots to go on-- movie premieres, American Idol events, etc.

Cons

There are so many interns, that employees don't really know what to do with them. Most days I just sat at my desk and was bored. MTV tries to create a feeling like they were going to help outstanding interns get a job, but that is just not true. Most employees in production management stay there forever, and an openings go to friends or family.
