      A lot to learn from one of the best in the business

      Pros

      Hard work gets noticed, fast-paced, great environment, not too much pressure. There's a lot to learn if you are willing to look for it and motivated. The producer of the show I was working on was kind enough to sit down and talk about my career goals.

      Cons

      No pay for interns (might have changed after 2013). Day to day work is relatively tedious, so you need to go venture on your own to network and get noticed. Not necessarily a bad thing, but part of the entertainment business in general.

      Not the best experience I could of had

      -The few times I actually got to have real hands on experience -Good pay for an internship -Nice employees who are helpful

      Cons

      My internship had a few issues, the main one being that there were 2 inters at the same time. I thought I would have the advantage, having started first, but that wasn't so. The second the new intern started in the same department, I was given the real "intern work". I got to remove staples from contracts and scan them, not much of an internship/learning opportunity. They would tell me they wanted to train me to do more things, but they seemed to not have the time. I know that they're busy, Viacom is a busy company, but don't have an intern if you can't give them real work to do that will help them advance and really get the full experience. Having 2 interns at the same time doesn't normally happen, from what I heard, but it was a mistake (that's another story for another review).
