For being one of the oldest tech companies (CNET) still around since before the bubble burst in 2002, the culture is great. People are fantastic. Goals are reasonable and attainable.

Cons

Pay is low and promotions take forever to go through.

Although the CBSi portfolio is made up of over 25 different brands, we realize the importance of maintaining individualized sub-cultures for our teams. As we continue to acquire new divisions, this is always top-of-mind. In regards to pay, our total rewards packages are competitive in the industry but we do realize that there are always other companies who are willing to pay more. For individuals with pay as a top motivator, we understand this can sometimes be a potential drawback. Thanks for your feedback, it is unfortunate to hear that you did not see much potential for growth within CBSi. We do have many outlets for learning within CBSi, but we also make sure that all of our employees ‘own’ their own development. Our EyeLearn portal has several in-person and recorded training sessions at our employees disposal to register. And, CBSi employees also have access to both Lynda.com, which has several thousand skill-building and learning tools, and the Harvard Manage Mentor, which offers management development tools. We also host in office ‘power hours’, development classes, and speaker series to assist with learning.
