Pros
The product is amazing, very competitive and unique to the market. The people in Panaya are highly collaborative and very smart. I am very proud of working with a smart team and a competitive product. They offer great benefits (at least in the US) such as 401k, unlimited time off, work from home, outings etc. I am not sure of other departments but Panaya usually offers a very competitive salary. My favorite part of the company is the fact that I am constantly challenged and the job is never boring.
Cons
The company strives for an agile methodology, not only in the product but also as an internal culture. Because of this, you need to be willing to adapt to constant changes, everything in Panaya moves very fast. At times things may seem disorganized and as if there is not clarity but all you need to do is ask and for sure you will get an answer. Other reviews mentioned that there is not a proper onboarding which I agree with but that is why you only will succeed in Panaya if you can work independently. The majority of the people work remotely so its hard to have somebody sitting with you teaching you the job. everybody is extremely collaborative and will go out of their way to help you succeed, it is your responsibility to take the initiative, be proactive and learn the product.
