Pros

New method of scrum seems to be working even though the progress is slow. Useless project Managers are leaving or been fired(Final days of the Dragon Lady) which will lead to proper project estimations and realistic dead lines.

Cons

Pay could be much better. Promotions are dreams only.

Pros

The people and friendships made.

Cons

Micromanagement, poor leadership, overall state of confusion, higher ups like to keep things quiet (no transparency), no room for advancement, management I had was very emotional rather than logical, no mentorship (even when you ask), no opportunities for ongoing learning (basically just jump in with no training too). The office areas are pretty bland and boring.

Pros

Nothing positive to say in terms of pros besides gaining experience.

Cons

Salary is SO poor in the Chicago land area. On average about 20% lower than the average for the industry AND 30% lower in the Chicago area. The work life balance is not acceptable and the hours they expect you to put in for FOC is unheard of.
