      The ups and downs of the part time Security Officer world

      If you take the shifts when they call you in the middle of the night (or generally whatever is offered), you begin to get offered more and more shifts, and even assigned rotation as a part time They pay for the gear, so no investment when you start working Free training and certifications , including first aid

      Cons

      Poor scheduling Scheduling Mishaps and errors Same payscale regardless of work environment (same pay for sitting at a desk at an apartment building as for hospital environment, which is very intense and much different...most other companies pay based on skill required at different sites)
