      Poor Quality of Life

      Pros

      Coworkers are among some of the better I've had in various companies. Lots of interesting projects to work on. Lots of in-house training opportunities.

      Cons

      Long hours if you work salary. As a field engineer expect to work around 60 hours a week or see the detrimental effect on your career reviews and advancement. Employee shares have been good in the past but they have been cutting down in the share offerings and the wages have been stagnant for a long time. Small bonuses. The talk about work-life balance but expect that work is your life. Very closed off about talking about wages. From the perspective of a current employee it looks like they are trying to muffle complaints from young employees about their quality of life.

      PCL offers continued education with their campus PCL Construction University. Staff are great!

      Cons

      The management team could learn a little more about supporting their employee's goals and aspirations and give equal opportunity for all.

      To many Family members, very political. Communication break downs between upper management and front line.
