Pros

It was a wonderful experience working with such an understanding and cooperative team. Living on my own in a remote location for the first time was both challenging and rewarding, and my team played a big role in helping me grow professionally. The strong bond we shared and our team activities made it feel like a family with a great work culture.

Cons

The project was closed due to budget constraints from the owner, resulting in staff reductions. Although there were internal reassignment opportunities within the GC, still several employees were laid off regardless of performance.

Pros

Company culture is good. Lots of great course to take. A great place to grow and learn. Most staff are friendly and supportive. Free coffee and lots of events and perks. Extended benefits available but it’s just ok.

Cons

No work from home. Long hours and everyone works in the office unless special circumstances. Low base pay. They market their “total compensation package” but their share option is minimal if you’re not a PM or supervisor. Which is why admin, accountants, HR and IT turnover rate is very high. Poor management. Almost all executive roles are caucasian male with maybe one female. No career growth for admin roles. They just want to hire entry level staff with minimal pay.
