Pros

Great pay for the same work I was doing in the military. The schedule was consistent and I was surrounded by like-minded individuals. This work is great for someone that just seperated from the military and is in the transition back to civilian life.

Cons

You are at the mercy of the customer (in my case the US Navy) so no matter what the customer is always right (even when they are wrong).

PAE took over a contract that I was working on and completely demolished it. 100% turnover in the first year.
