      1. Get your feet in the door/gain experience 2. Learn how to work effectively as a team member in contributing to a "big picture vision" 3. Learn the true value of your work through item #2 4. Flexibility 5. "Work family" atmosphere/work culture

      Cons

      1. May not receive compensation commensurate w/experience/industry standards and responsibilities 2. Not a great place to work if you're intent on working completely uninterrupted (last-minute projects that pop up, for example) - helps if you're quick on your feet
