They came on strong and tried to be competitive.

Cons

They purchased our group and then layed every one off! They are too small and didn't have their act together to play in the big leagues. They didn't have enough contracts signed up to keep the staff the acquired on hand.

PAE is a great global company to work for with ongoing projects with the federal government.

Pros

Wide variety of complex projects and outages to manage and complete. Always learning new things on the job. This position will teach you a great deal project management.

Cons

There needs to be more trained and experenced engineers on staff. It is a company with only a handful of people than have "tribal knowledge" about mechanical/electrical systems.

Pay is OK. The jobs are interesting.

Cons

Changes in management seem to go from bad to worse. Foreign nationals are treated poorly. The company has been fined multiple times in the last year for failing to pay their foreign nationals or in this case local nationals. Multiple lawsuits have been filed by current and former employees from PAE failing to pay their workers.
