Pros

Working for PAE is a good thing in terms of the pay and the environment that we work in. Most of the employees are easy going and make life out here bearable in regards to the fact that one is away from home. It is a family of sorts.

Cons

Am sorry to say this but most of the managers around are incompetent. They do not have a clue of what their managerial title entails. They thrive in intimidation and the divide and rule policy. Always demoralizing the junior staff and have that almighty feeling on themselves or should I say they have a low self esteem that they try to cover by being arrogant and putting down any valid concern or suggestion from the junior staff and its something that is open for anyone who cares to see.

Pros

The satisfaction that all US expat in this contract despite issues with PAE worked diligently to satisfy the customer - USG.

Cons

Lack of real leadership, lack of ethics although the company have a robust SOP produced by a Sr. company ethics officer, it is not followed. PAE leadership violates host country regulatory laws & regulations to include financial disclosure laws. In many cases, avoiding to pay in country tax; a clear violation of the law. Veterans are belittled by Sr. leadership without regards of years of faithful service to the US, and in many case, the same leadership never served in the US Military. Religious persecution was the norm, I experienced it with one very Senior company leader. I was persuaded to resign my position or else. To senior leadership, employees were at the time, just a number and a means to make money for "overhead"......sad indeed.
