PAE reviews

Interviews were absurd, I should have seen it as a sign. Management had no idea what my job was. Everyone was very comfortable treating me as a second class citizen. I worked extremely hard, have a high education and was paid horribly. I was hired for one job and after I put in my notice for my current job I found out I was doing something completely different than what I thought. No one seemed the least bit concerned. There was no one I could talk to. My PAE Manager, who I never met, was annoyed when anyone contacted her. The agency that I was contracted out to said that my horrible experience with PAE was par for the course and that I am way too good to be working there. There was no opportunity for employee reviews. Similarly, there was no opportunity for raises. I felt trapped and am so happy that I left.

The company does some shady practices You may have a TCN as a boss that has a fraction of the knowledge you do working to support US embassy. Had uplift and then lost it due to it not being in the contract. Expected more for less, not a reality based request. you get more for more and less for less. Mangement promotes suck ups over the actual workers. Management not well trained to be a leaders. double standards. Had no active plans in place for people drinking on the job.
