Pros

Oxfam lives its values. Throughout the organization, many individuals are aligned to organizational values of empowerment and solidarity, and live their feminist values. Many opportunities for learning, participation in communities of practice, and career advancement are available. The organization is serious about growth, but not opportunistic or overly competitive.

Cons

A large, complex confederation model can inhibit clear and streamlined processes. Constant change processes with cycles of consultation can take resources away from operational needs and become overly burdensome on staff.
