Pros

Great people to work with Manageable and fair workload Good flexibility offered to support work life balance and family commitments

Cons

Chaotic Leadership Poor systems and processes Almost no career progression No support for learning and development No managers programme to help upskill or develop you as a manager and therefore no consistency in approach or expectation applied to those who lead and manage teams Poor leadership from SLT and poor communication regarding challenging decision or key decisions Hard to understand direction of travel in the organisation due to lack of consistent leadership approach and lack of risk taking in making decision Poor culture as an organisation You will likely become deskilled the longer you stay here

Pros

Personable relationships with colleagues across the globe. Managers take your mental and financial health seriously. Flexible working environment.

Cons

Policies and how they are applied get often confusing, as Oxfam is an international organization. The pay does not match the value of the work in a city with such high cost of living.
