Pros

My shop manager was great, very helpful and proactive at getting things down career-wise. It is nice to get involved in the wider community, both locally and of course internationally. Communication between the lower levels of management is good.

Cons

Decision making could be sped up somewhat, it seems to become slower and slower to get an answer as you seek further up the ladder. With it being a charity the pay is not the best, but thats to be expected. Next to no contact with managers beyond the "area" level unfortunately.

Oxfam is strong in systems thus easy to start for new comers.

Cons

Senior managers are not really communicate junior staff (just rely on some staff)
