      Pros

      Everyone knows Oracle, and if you stay long enough there, it will increase the chances of people knowing you. Lots of bureaucracy might make your path difficult, but if you sort things out you might even make yourself a career. Oracle is all about results, so it's a great place for people who want to shine and bask in their results.

      Cons

      Salaries and human capital. Oracle has become a modern IBM, as it is now know as a meat grinder.

      Great products, market leader. With good results and political skills you can do a very good career at Oracle.

      Cons

      Too results oriented. "You are as good as your last quarter". Not enough focus on the human part.
