Flexibility at times to work from different Oracle Locations

Cons

Very poor paymasters. Micromanagement takes place if you have Indian managers. When in Shared Services model, the scope of work becomes very limited. Not a growth oriented or supporting environment. Processes are ill defined and rarely defined.

Pros

Individual roles are well defined and there is independence to certain extent. You can do as many certifications as you want on Oracle products, for FREE!

Cons

No pre defined career goal. Managers are mostly clueless about the same as well. No raise or hike for 3 years now in many LOBs. No transparency on communication relating to financial matters. HR is mostly stuck on policies and rarely uses their brains. Like all Indian companies, tendency to exploit employees to the max.
