Pros

Opendoor is a remote first company and I can work from anywhere in the US with a wifi connection. The unlimited vacation policy for Salaried employees has been a God send for work life balance. The people who work here are friendly and helpful and I enjoy the cross department collaboration.

Cons

With the Macroeconomic pressures on Real Estate and Tech I do have some concerns about the long term condition of the organization. We had lay offs in November and I have been told there wont be more but it's hard to trust that until the market starts to turn again. That being said there are some teams that are expanding as they generate more revenue.
