Not a lot of pay, but not a bag place to work at all!

Pros

Great location, not in a mall! Great employee discount and pleasant place to work. Managers are fair and great at acknowledging a job well done. Overall, GAP is a nice company to work for.

Cons

Not as many hours available due to huge number of employees who work there part time. You get your schedule for the upcoming week only on the Friday before. However, you won't likely be working that much so you don't need to know so far in advance anyway!

Pros

One of the best reasons to work at Old Navy is the awesome employee discounts you get, 25% off at Old Navy, 50% off at Banana Republic and The Gap, and 10% off all clearance items.

Cons

Some customers are not too friendly. And the pay is not so great.

Great benefits for management Able to get time off when needed Pay is great if you were there when they were doing well as a company

Cons

No incentive for sales associates to stay/move up within company Base pay for associates is minimum wage or slightly above, even with experience District managers out of touch with store level No recognition for a job well done Company dress code used to allow 'You to be you', i.e. very lax with piecings/tattooes, now does not allow piercings No hours to get anything done, yet must always have everything perfect Lots of customer and associate drama to deal with at management level
