MES - Hyderabad - worst leadership - ruining brand

Overall Novartis is great organisation to work with. Flexible work environment.

Cons

If you are going to join MES-PLS, prepare to bear politics to an extent that GH will put all his efforts to create hurdles in your path. It doesn't matter if your performance is exceeding expectations. If you are not gelling well with the GH, he will make sure to play all soap-opera politics to ruin your career. It seems, his job description is well defined on "How to ruin career of those who doesn't butter your ego". Rating, growth, opportunities, promotions etc. are given to 0.1% of those people whose are GHs insider messengers. If you want to work under the brand- Novartis, please do not join MES.

Cons

There are more managers than analysts and senior analysts. They are reluctant to work and entire workload is on the limited analysts in the team. Worst IT infrastructure Company is only good for pharma people. If you are coming for any technical role, please stay away. There is limited to no support people. Since all the managers and GHs are from pharma background, they won’t understand the work techical people do. Lastly favouritism is at peaks. Your work doesn’t matter during appraisals. Only managers puppets are rewarded well
