More cons than pros

Pros

The work onboard is easy. Passengers are mostly nice, know to expect very little, therefore do not moan and complain.

Cons

A lot of the cabin crew unfortunately. There is quite a mix of crew. Some from carriers such as BA, Virgin Atlantic, Emirates. Also from charter airlines like Monarch, Thomas Cook etc...the majority of these crew are professional, hardworking, a pleasure to work alongside & focus on delivering excellent customer service, as trained by their previous airlines. However, there are also a large number of ex Easy Jet & Ryan Air crew, most of whom are absolutely dreadful, and embarrassing to work alongside. They have zero customer service skills, everything is too much trouble, they are not even pleasant to work with. It’s quite shocking to me how these people even consider themselves remotely suited to a customer service based role.

Pros

Great people to work with. The planes were new and nice to be on. Destinations were exciting and new ones were added frequently. As a start-up company, climbing the ladder was an accessible goal anyone could reach for if they wanted. There was NOTHING wrong with being based in FLL.

Cons

Pay was not the best, but is it really ever? Schedules were often 21 days or longer away from home. No union and no easy way of changing/swapping shifts. Hotels left something to be desired and the turn-around time was often not enough to recuperate from a long haul journey across the Atlantic or North American continent.
