Pros

The nature of the work, high tech and good people.

Cons

Stove-piped processes, staid organizational movement, multi-level management structure (too many bosses), not willing to listen to more experienced employees.

Pros

Big company means can survive a economic slowdown. Stable environment.

Cons

Management doesn't care about employees - weak benefits, pay upgrades are slow and below average for tech industry at large, very limited advancement. Stable environment also means a hostile environment for innovation.

Pros

Weren't a lot of pros in Aurora. In Boulder, the work was great! People in Aurora were mostly alright. But the work was awful.

Cons

Mismanagement, lack of long-term vision. My number one problem with them was that management doesn't care what you want to work on -- no focus on employee job satisfaction. They just need butts in seats. Classic "fog a mirror" program -- "if you can fog a mirror, you're hired." Very unorganized and mismanaged. No communication between teams whatsoever.
