Pros

Northrop Grumman has a variety of contracts to support and they try to match people with good opportunities, They do good job of building a sense of community despite their size. They make continued learning a priority with plenty of internal and external options.

Cons

The main downsides come from the nature of the customers they support. Contracts and organization change which can be challenging. When I left, they had begun a reorganization which I would imagine has improved things.

Pros

Flexible work schedule, Some interesting work

Cons

The work culture is awful. There's almost no transparency into future work. This campus does not get the recognition others do, likely due to the fact that no VP's want anything to do with it. Compensation for performance is extremely weak.

Hi there, we appreciate you taking a moment to leave a review. I would encourage you to have a dialogue with your manager to ensure they are aware of your frustrations. If you are not comfortable discussing your frustrations with your manager, then don’t hesitate to reach out to your Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) or call our toll free Open Line. The culture you describe is not characteristic of our company -- if our culture were as damaged as you imply, our long record of sustained achievement could never be maintained. We're working very hard every day to make our company a better place for all our employees and we regret that your experience right now is not as it should be. It sounds as if you have reached a point where you are feeling frustrated with your current project/team. I would encourage you to look for growth opportunities by visiting our careers site (www.northropgrumman.com/careers) and applying for an internal transfer to get the fresh perspective that may help in your career.
