Pros

Pay scale is good. Cant think of anything else

Cons

They want to follow Flipkart, Amazon or Paypal. Achieve "so called excellence", so the way to do that is expect people to push to their limits, whoever doesn't push , will get laid off. Engineers think its because of Managers but truth is its being done at CTO and VP level. If managers don't push team, they get fired. CTO thinks thats the way to build high performing team so can put 200%. I don't even know if its right or wrong, Indian companies have done it for so long, we almost believe thats normal. CTO is by-product of Indian industry so i feel he believes that too. its that classic state, Pay high and PUSH employees so much that they cant find the time and energy to live. Good to note, Nielsen is Big company so its hard to make generic statement.

Pros

No Pros as of now

Cons

The toxic “Byju’s mentality” is ruining the company. The CTO has filled upper management with his Byju’s buddies, and it’s killing innovation and culture. Anil Goel acts like some superhero who can magically cut AWS costs to zero, but he doesn’t even understand the basics of cost optimization. In the process, he’s gambling with revenue and stability. Directors and VPs are mostly imports from failed Indian startups like Byju’s. They only hire their old pals and shamelessly fire capable employees from the previous management.
