-they are moving all their jobs to India to save money -they do not match 401k -they pay you bonus in stock options that you never realize unless you are their for many years

Pros

Depending on the group you work with could be great. Pay can be good, but once again depends on your group. Without a strong group/mentor it's hard to make it.

Cons

However, there is no communication or collaboration between groups. Management looks out for themselves, and generally morale is quite low. Newmark doesn't stick its neck out for employees.

Pros

Pay is ok. Snacks are often in the kitchen, especially wine and gift baskets from clients. I was mostly left alone, so good for introverts.

Cons

Insurance is terrible - Ex: My annual wellness exam was covered one year, but not the second, even though I went to the same doctor's office and they said they billed it the exact same way. Spent hours on the phone trying to sort it out over several months. HR seems to think that providing online health support in the form of articles and questionnaires should be enough to substitute for in-person care. Everyone I worked with was a workaholic.
