Nice people and offices, but plagued by politics and disorganisation

Pros

Individually nice people. Good offices. Some high profile projects in some areas. Expanding service lines and bringing in new people.

Cons

Riven with politics. Disorganised with no sense of direction. internal comms in UK business is poor and comms from the US incomprehensible. Bureaucratic, slow and cautious. IT not great, feels behind the curve.

Good benefits, base pay similar to competitors, prestige of working for a top real estate firm

Cons

Newmark doesn't see property management as a valuable part of their business, so corporate support and resources for PMs are zero. You end up battling your own employer just to deliver on basic elements on the management contract, like on-time vendor payments and accurate financial reports. Makes your job extremely difficult.
