Pros

Liked what my job entailed day to day

Cons

Terrible management the whole way to the top. Absolutely no transparency and a total lack of professionalism from HR. Absolutely no thought or care for their employees and making them happy. No 401k match.

Pros

The only pro I can think of is the people you work with make the deference.

Cons

Unless you are a broker, there is no upward mobility for the back end folks. If you are looking for experience go get it and then leave. Bonuses are split 50/50 with some going to RSU and the rest you get in your same paycheck but you don't really see because you get taxed to much on it. Also your RSU gets vested during the time that they start firing people, so if you are lucky you don't get fired and you have a chance to cash in your shares. Raises unless you are a brokers or an executive admin, don't look forward to it. Place is full of empty promises.

Pros

The only good thing that I can say about my role with NKF is that the base pay was average/fair. Bonus pay is just OK. There are some good people there.

Cons

Terrible leadership. The company stock is a joke and won't budge. Very poor benefits. No retirement contribution at all. Terrible health plan(s). Awful work/life balance. No positive company culture at all. The company is very disjointed after several acquisitions. You can't really get administrative support in an effective way. If you have to travel, be prepared for the company to borrow money from you with a promise to reimburse you IF you follow their complicated and antiquated reimbursement process. In other words, they won't give you corporate cards. The technology and consulting department(s) are in complete shambles with terrible leadership. This company has no appetite to be aggressive or progressive. If I was a customer, I wouldn't do business with them based on what I know about the internal practices and the type of people they have hired. At this point, I'm guessing they've lost as many clients in consulting engagements as they have kept. All due to very poor leadership, lack of vision, no integrity, and lack of discipline. It will be quite easy to pick off their clients one by one.
