Pros

This is a business that will challenge you and will teach you how to Manage a business, a team but most important yourself. There are some great trainings and constant changes that keeps you energised. Nespresso pay very well and with the money it comes the pressure. If you have a great work ethic you will be fine. Nespresso can open the door for many other roles. So stay there for a couple of year then move.

Cons

There is a lots of issues outside your own stores. You are hearing horror stories around bullying (if you have an option against the status quo you will be pushed out) HR is a real problem, a dictatorship run by a 50s something man-child. Lost of favourites with regard career progression. It’s not about merit is about “are you a yes person” if so you’ll go places. They use you until they don’t need you anymore. They keep having a target, I’ve seen many great people leaving, all the sudden........ ultimately it was my turn..... so I left. They push managers out so they could save money, creating issues they didn’t exist...... if this isn’t bullying I don’t know what it is.
