NSC has really drifted from their original mission, and honestly, I’m not sure they’ll find their way back anytime soon. It feels like money has turned into a distraction instead of being a means to support their safety mission. They really need to refocus, but right now, it doesn’t look like that’s happening.

Good benefits. Good holidays. Caring management. Mission driven. Progressive. Less than desirable location.

Cons

Too many hours spent in meetings and serving on committees not related to our jobs or the mission. Workforce has shrunk. A bit top heavy. Too many managers and not enough support staff. This has improved.
