Pros

Very friendly workplace environment. As a branch of an American company, the culture was different from a typical Japanese corporation. If you can persuade others that your ideas are worthwhile, enough effort can make it happen.

Cons

Management seems to be struggling with both sales and understanding the Japanese market. This struggle sometimes lead to decrease in transparency of management.

Pros

There are opportunities to work on great projects if you can move around enough in the company.

Cons

Creativity is not always valued; personal side projects don't get much support. The salary and benefits are below grade for companies in this sector. Management is pretty social so if you don't have an outgoing personality it will be harder to get promotions.
