Pros
NVIDIA has excellent products and an excellent executive management team. They take risks with new markets and products and realize that the environment is changing.
Cons
NVIDIA's software engineering org has a sub-par middle management. Lots of engineers have been promoted to management with no training and heavily rely on a "lets build yet another wheel in-house because we can do it so much better" mentality. They are also hugely focused on tactical execution where strategic focus is readily sacrificed... not a long-term winning strategy for a growing division.
