Pros

I would like to say nothing, but I am being forced to with the minimum word count. Therefore, discount would be the 1 pro.

Cons

Practically no staff benefits, treated like a number, not valued and hard work isn't noticed. Zero hour contract, not regular hours. Xmas working was the worst experience of my life.

Pros

Some days there's a lot of work to do which will help time flies. Most customers are nice.

Cons

They don't respect health limitations. They still have my dyslexia diagnosis sheet and every time I ring up they give me a different excuse to why they haven't sent it, so they've technically stole a personal document from me. Also when I needed to go to OH, the doctor let me read what they wrote to him about me and all they did was insult me. They said I lied about my health even though I had signed notes from my GP. I was told that they were terrible to work for but I thought it was my mates just saying that. Payroll know nothing and kept telling to wait a few days for my late sick payment. They only did something when I told them Revenue and Customs were about to be involved for withholding payment.

Pros

Discount is good, staff shops in particular have great prices. Met some good friends during my time there.

Cons

- Where do I even start? Worst possible place to work, many have left because of management - Poor pay structure - went from grade 10 to grade 7 with an increase of about £1.50 - Expect you to work silly hours, many times finishing at midight and expect you back in for sale at 4. - Rediculous shifts e.g. 2pm to 11pm. - Repeatedly break the law and have no consideration when it come to employee rights. - Ask you to work time owed and be paid later but when it comes to it, act like they don't know what you're talking about. - Won't give you a holiday in peace, many times i've been forced to come in to cover. - The entire management structure is corrupt to the core. - Put you on 4 hour contracts and then expect you to work full time hours whilst working 'on call'. - With each new manager that comes in, they try their utmost best to get rid of old staff and who are going to be more resilient. - Certain departments are favoured whilst other looked down upon. - Snakes everywhere, some staff looking to become managers will become really pally with managers, then try hang out with regular staff to get more information on what everyone is saying about them and find out any secrets. - Every single task is calculated by the system and they will use it against you when it is not completed on time, yet place huge extra workloads on you and refuse to make anything easier. - Sales staff will repeatedly take advantage of this, dump stock in places, never contribute to keeping stock in order, dump mixed hangers. Managers are fully aware of this yet choose to show a blind eye and expect you to pay the price. - Much of the same story across many stores in the North-West in particular, as we had regular contact with others throughout the region.
