      Pros

      Nice staff but they employ too many young people for cheap labour and they stand around Chatting all day so the work piles up.

      Cons

      Low pay. No staff. No support. No care for employers they only care about money going in the till. So customer focused yet can't get the team they need to run a proper business all to keep Simons pocket laced properly. Boxing day opening at 5am if you enjoy Christmas don't work at next as your expected to start work on boxing day at 5am for the half price sale. Next has no care for its staff and their families especially over the holiday period as you are worked like a donkey and have to give up your holiday for people to buy half price tat from last year.

      The shop floor staff are an amazing team, great discount

      Cons

      The shift system means you sign your life away 1 hour before and after your shift. You can’t have holiday around sales times. It’s Nexts way or else. Local management here in Chippenham bully and victimised people for wanting a little flexibility. Expect a shouting at if you do something they don’t like. Oh, plus they are too tight to hire A cleaner, and staff are expected to clean the store.

      Ability to pick up extra hours outside of what you are contracted is good

      Cons

      Unless you are friendly with the managers, they can tend to treat you in a demeaning manor.
