Pros
-one gets to know how the software companies used to work about 10 years back. -a good place to start if you are aiming an MBA degree in future as you get to see bad management practices at work.
Cons
- you get too entangled in managing a healthy work-life balance - you get to lose an urge to learn - too low salary and subsequent appraisals compared to industry-wide standards - office politics is too deep-rooted - highly disorganized way of project management as you are constantly shifted from project A to project B and then back to project A in a week's time, so very limited scope of some real learning.
