HR dominated environment

Pros

Infectious drive and enthusiasm from senior management and a respected brand performing well.

Cons

Mysterious domination by HR in all areas produces zero income but seems unassailable. Questionable gender pay gap. Lip service only to diversity which is farmed out to employee groups rather than delegated to HR who produced the problem in the first place. Would not trust any anonymous reporting promise.

Pros

Good people at the coal face doing the work. Big name in the industry.

Cons

Communications around training and opportunities sound great but are very limited once you try to develop unless you are in the favoured group, if not then it was very much stay in your lane. Senior management cover themselves with Group by allocating blame. Diversity and retention appears a challenge as a lot of past leavers were non white, female , experienced and new.

Pros

- Comprehensive policies and benefits package. - Well-intentioned initiatives on paper.

Cons

- Bureaucratic structure, with most decisions routed through Germany, often delaying progress in other regions. - Lack of accountability for management's adherence to policies.
