Pros

-If you demonstrate commitment and hard work, Mozio is a company that will give you the chance to continuously grow professionally. -The company has a flat organization, which means many times decision making occurs at the staff level. This gives you the chance to make a direct impact on the company with your contribution. -You can work from anywhere in the world, it doesn´t matter how different is your time zone from the rest of your colleagues. -We have a company retreat once a year in which the company will cover part of the costs. This is an amazing experience! -If you are professional and deliver results, you will be able to handle your time and nobody will be controlling you. This gives the freedom that traditional work will never give, and it´s one of the most valuable things of working for Mozio.

Cons

-Since the company works 100% remotely, It can be hard at the beginning to adapt. While in most of the cases employees expect managers to give directions, in Mozio it will depend mostly on you. -Having people working in different time zones means that you can receive messages at all times. It´s a challenge for each employee to learn to handle that and set their own working hours limits.

Pros

Remote job and coworkers are cool

Cons

You are probably here because you did a search on Mozio and wondering if you should work here and the simple answer is no. The other positive reviews here are from employees being told to give positive reviews. The pay starts at 600 us dollars per month with no benefits other than unlimited vacation policy which is actually limited to 4 weeks total per year so they do not really know what unlimited means...and your vacation is not approved if they have limited people or management is pressured by the executives to bring resolution numbers up. Also they advertise as 8+ hours, but the reality is that you may end up working 11 hours or so....You also must work 6 hours straight taking calls, chats, and replying to emails without breaks and when you do take breaks, you eventually get "talked to" for logging out when calls or chats need to be handled. Imagine having to sit in front of your computer for 6 hours straight and not take a break? The other time you will spend with daily ticket goals of 60 per day or other projects they give you. So think about that...600 us dollars to work over 8 hours and 6 of those hours you are required to sit in front of your computer without break. Also, they are not flexible at all with the hours. They tell you which shift you will have and you have to take it because good luck reasoning with management. They do have company retreats but guess what? you have to pay for the airline tickets. And since you will be working customer service which requires you to be logged in answering calls, chats, or tickets then chances are you cannot go because they would have to find someone to cover you. Turnover here? is really high. I mean people join then leave quick once they realize how bad things are here. They are always looking to hire new people and cannot seem to keep them because nobody wants to work long hours for very low pay when there are other companies which will pay more and not require so much work. most managers are cool but the structure sucks and a couple of them are rude. It seems if you live in Argentina and can make it to their coworking space then you can make friends with the head of operations and she will give you whatever job you want without doing much while customer service slaves away. So you can try that route if you want. Meetings....do you love meetings? well this is the job for you because they have multiple meetings and almost every day. The best part? They are mandatory so if it is your day off or you are sleeping because the meeting is when you sleep, you better make it. If you don't then management will be all over you asking why you did not go...99% of these meetings is just to listen to one of the main managers talk about stuff that could have been sent in an email or announcement. I think he just likes to hear himself talk. So should you work here? Yes: If you really need the money and need a job that will hire anyone who will say yes for such a low salary with long hours. No: If you value yourself and know your worth. You can get a much better paying job elsewhere with better benefits, a better work environment, and not have to slave away.
