Company does layoffs semi-annually. You're not a real person to upper management, just a number to pad their bottom line while the CEO enjoys banking tens of millions in compensation per year. They don't care if you uproot your life and your family and dedicate your heart and soul to the business, they'll put you out on the streets without losing a wink of sleep. If you work here, you should only use them as a stepping stone for better things and constantly be ready to leave at a moment's notice.
