      Really poor senior management and no direction

      We used to have a good staff discount.

      - Micromanagers at the top who spread their management style down - Lack of trust and ownership - Too few high performers and way too many low performers/dead weights. - No clear strategy - Lack of communication top down - Senior leaders have huge egos, too proud - Toxic work culture

      Was once a fantastic place to work but things have changed

      Excellent staff discount scheme Generous salaries and holiday allowance Wonderful product to work with

      Poor communication from head office Little or no chance of progression Very little support for retail store managers Shift in culture at company over last few years, a lot of staff turnover and changes for the worse Used to feel like a real family business with a caring attitude towards staff, no longer the case and staff are treated like a number rather than an individual

      Great place to work and grow

      Pros

      There's a great deal of autonomy here - if you are proactive and driven, you'll do well here and management will demonstrate appreciation for your efforts. There has been a lot of change in terms of structure in the last six months, which is necessary when a company is growing at a rapid pace and changes have been for the better with more defined roles, responsibilities and goals and greater collaboration across departments. Inspiring founders. The HO discount is stellar.

      Cons

      There is one manager in London office who seems to hold much more power than they should - that team specifically seems to be diminished and defeated by the way they are treated by this manager, and many people have complained but because this person is a favourite amongst senior leadership nothing has happened.
