Pros

Family owned business. The owner Mitchell gets out to the stores and meets people. You have a sense of belonging.

Cons

Long hours at the holiday time with little or no consideration to family. Retail is about business however there needs to be some point when family is more important.

Its pretty bad

Pros

You will learn a lot of product knowledge in this company, they drill knowledge into your head from day one especially in the footwear and sporting goods sections.

Cons

Management is terrible, a lot of backroom deals and favoritism when it comes to promotions and raises. You could be the best associate for 3 years straight and never get promoted, but the one associate that befriends the managers outside of work, and inside of work will get that open position right on the spot.
