Awful

Pros

If you have a decent GM then they can manipulate the schedule to give you the days off you need. That's really about it.

Cons

Upper management, DMs are clueless, can't get product that customers want, CEO only wants to buy cheapest products he can find that will give him the most money. Was there for 3 years never got a raise. Insurance is terrible and expensive. Visuals sales are terrible and whoever does signage doesn't have a clue.

Pros

1) Meet new, friendly associates to be friends with. 2) Learn to deal with people, whether itbe by assisting them or learning to work with customers in different moods. 3) Extremely flexible work schedule, especially for a highschool student.

Cons

1) Pay is practically minimum wage, arguably working harder than some managers in some cases. Better than not being paid, of course. 2) Customers are not reasonable and don't always understand that you're busy with customers, thus not always being able to help every person every second when it gets really busy, especially during the summer time. 3) Some managers give promotions to those who don't deserve it/don't have as much work experience/ knowledge of items, etc.
