Pros

Can order dinner in if work late. Base pay compensation is on par with other large law firms. Large corporate clients allow for complex and interesting work.

Cons

Really a regional law firm with little national reach and almost no global presence. Limited training or mentoring for junior associates so do not feel as if the firm is investing in its associates...only churning out the work and hiring new associates when needed.

Pros

The best thing about the firm is that despite its size, it still has a family feel. Generally people are nice and easy to work with. The firm has great values. It promotes diversity and pro bono projects.

Cons

Sometimes it is not clear who needs help with cases; it is sometimes hard to get work. As is true with most large firms, there are not that many partners that are women or of color.

Pros

The staff at Mintz are friendly and treat you with respect.

Cons

The downside of working at Mintz Levin would be the limited apportunity for advancement.
