      Pros

      I joined Miele on a part time basis so that I could work around my children. I was expecting to work additional hours now and then due to business needs however the Company are excellent at ensuring I get that time back and get the right work life balance. It is such a comfort to not be expected to work beyond my contractual hours on a regular basis and also get the recognition when I do.

      Cons

      The only downside would be the on site parking but that is continually being reviewed.

      Pros

      Brand values are very strong and product quality is very high. You can easily feel pride in working for Miele. There is a passion for the brand throughout the organisation and a feeling of being connected to the most senior people.

      Cons

      In some areas the business is not very progressive. Direction from head office can be autocratic and not considerate of local context. My line manager was arrogant, highly inconsistent and alienated me - although this was not typical of other senior managers.
