      Pros

      Good range of benefits for permanent staff including subsidised canteen, medicash, pension and life insurance. Salaries are reasonable and Managers are well trained, competent and supported by a skilled HR department. Family owned company with a subtle paternalistic nature.

      Cons

      Miele as a Group is a highly political organisation dominated by Marketing and Sales. Pace of change can be very slow from Group and even slower to adopt best practice internally from anywhere other than Group. The site is quite cramped in Abingdon with limited parking in peak times.

      Pros

      Family owned German company with tonnes of history and a very distinct and friendly work culture. They are a luxury home appliances brand.

      Cons

      Currently stagnating due to limited opportunities in India as a result they are not hiring people . They are not giving increments to their employees.

      -Encourage training and development of staff - Really fun team bonding days

      Cons

      -Not a complaint about the company as a whole but there was one particular manager who was inappropriately behaved for a work environment
