Pros

-You can learn a lot in IT technicalities like Business Intelligence, Data Warehousing due to initial, extensive training targeted for total newbies in subject. -great atmosphere (just like in college)

Cons

-After the initial training, you usually do very simple unambitious tasks like clicking out reports so It is just offshoring resources so that they are as cheap as possible. So -If you have experience, you will not learn anything (except from Microstrategy-specific product things of course). The work is usually boring report building. -salary is like from out of space, totally uncompetitive in Warsaw IT industry, that is why the company hires everyone that speaks English. Nothing more is needed and usually it gets nothing more back

Pros

* The company's biggest asset is its people. The ones that get their hands dirty with technical assignments (Software and Support) and the ones that work on the road. They are very nice and smart. And they have built an extensive and extremely efficient knowledge network. * Arguably, a good introduction bootcamp for new employees. * There's plenty of opportunities to learn new concepts and technology. Do expect to engage in a lot of self training, though.

Cons

* Too much time spent in unproductive administrative work. * No professional growth opportunities. Career plan is theoretical at its best. * No training on 3rd party technologies. However, be expected to become an expert on a particular 3rd party technology before engaging with a customer using that technology. You can imagine how this impacts your work/life balance. * Benefits, salaries and perks are below standards. * Arrogant, uncommunicative and excessively delegating management people and system. * Unrealistic, unproductive and mandatory professional goals set up by upper management.
