      They do a lot of exciting events all around the world.

      I found the activities that went onn at the events to be some what unsettling.

      Pros

      The co workers at MicroStrategy are absolutely fantastic. Smart, brilliant, fun, and tested - it is always a pleasure working with them

      Cons

      Pay is horrible, especially if you move up internally Bonuses get paid out with little logic and not based on performance Bad technological decisions are made to meet ridiculous timelines Agile software methodologies are not practiced Internal system are MicroStrategy built and antiquated Top down management, everyone is a bobble head to Saylor

      amazing people. smart people. amazing products. organization gets in it's own way.

      Pros

      the people. the vision. gym, health plan. the company has a great set of products - the best in their respective industries. They also have an amazing set of people, many whom have been at MicroStrategy for 15+ years.

      Cons

      lack of investment in systems. lack of investment in people. lack of co-hesive strategy. 90% of the problems were created by the company. They get in their own way. No work-life balance. And there seem to be no values anymore.
