Pros

1.You will most likely be smarter than your store manager (thats if you were hired based on skills and not because of simple default of being the only one willing to give up your life) and you will most likely be smarter than your district manager. They don't practice what they preach. They just regurgitate what they hear in meetings and workshops with no class or respect. 2.Good pay for entry level position. 3. You will likely just get hired as an assistant just because you closed many evenings for the store manager as he and the assistants never closed. 4. Even though you work directly with the store manager. He is not your boss.

Cons

1. You get blamed for everything. 2.Metro seems to think they own your life. They have no consideration for work/life balance. 3.If you do not become part of the boys club. You become blacklisted. 4. Only thing store managers are in charge of is your schedule. They use it in a way to punish you and if you are a push over, I have seen assistants being schedules every weekend, every holiday.

Pros

You can pick when you want to work, you can get Overtime, Double time and a half on Holidays.

Cons

Starting salary is $15. After you complete training you go to $16. They should start at $20 because its hard driving a bus full of drug addicts and mentally ill people that need a bath and they cussing you out for no reason. If you call Metro PD and say come get this stanky person off my bus, they tell you it aint no law against being funky, keep driving.
