Pros

Flexible work time. Good technology support to work from home and reliable technology to support off site work. Tuition reimbursement for higher studies(but its getting more stringent recently). Good health insurance coverages, Good size vacation days.

Cons

Lack of promotions, Lack of means to convert contribution to rewards. Poor employee management. No employee training efforts. Constantly changing ratings, review procedures. Looks like they dont have much handle on what they are doing. Lots of Focus on policy changes and less focus on results of those policy changes resulting in unstable and untrustable policy structure.

Pros

Great health benefits. Open door policy Competitive but not over competitive enviroment. Wealth of learning in the insurance and annuties industry. The company has taken numerous steps to ensure that it can meet all of its financial obligations. You will not see a situation like AIG here”No offense”. The company just moved to a new location, so there is a sense of excitement in the environment. You have numerous training opportunities, from toastmasters to other training programs that will prepare you for advancement or transition to another function area.

Cons

Starting salary to low. Pay scale after starting does not increase substantially.
